Ellen Callamari
Before launching Callamari Fine Art in 2000, Ellen Callamari held senior positions at major New York galleries for over 10 years, including the Mary Boone Gallery and the Andrea Rosen Gallery.

Callamari Fine Art provides discreet, professional advisory services to individuals and organizations seeking to establish new art collections or enhance existing ones. Clients include established collectors, major national and international corporations as well as individuals new to art collecting. As an advisor to the estate of the abstract expressionist Richard Pousette-Dart, Ms. Callamari assisted in the conservation, acquisition, sale and exhibition of his work nationally and internationally. She was a key contributor in the development and creation of the monograph, Richard Pousette-Dart: The New York School and Beyond (Skira, 2005). She is also active with contemporary art, discovering and developing relationships with exceptionally talented emerging artists.

Ms. Callamari received a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.A. from the City University of New York, both in art history. She is also certified to provide appraisals that comply with standards as set forth in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) of The Appraisal Foundation, Inc., in Washington, DC.
