Introducing “The Currencies of Value”

For the past few months, I’ve been working on something that feels like a natural extension of the work I’ve been doing for nearly three decades—but also something more personal.

I’ve launched a Substack called The Currencies of Value.

It’s a space where I step back from individual appraisals and begin to articulate how value is actually determined—across markets, across objects, and, at times, across our own lives.

This Substack is also where I’m beginning to articulate ideas that have been building over years—and are now taking shape as a larger body of work.

Each piece draws from real experience: how we justify numbers, how markets behave, where expertise succeeds (and where it falls short), and why purpose must always come before price.

If you’ve ever wondered how value is formed—or challenged—it’s a conversation I think you’ll find worthwhile.

I’d truly value you being part of it from the beginning.

You can join me on Substack at The Currencies of Value or learn more in the introductory video linked below.

Warmly,
Jennifer Garland Ross, AAA
